Hi, I'm a Person-Centred counsellor and energy healer, and am also a support worker to people with disabilities.

When I work with you, I am tuning into what it is you need from our time together, and also asking myself what it is like to be you, with your unique circumstances and life experiences. And as I learn what it’s like to be you, very likely so do you – and this brings more clarity and choice for you.

I allow you to be exactly where you are, without jumping in or giving advice. I use my listening skills and intuition to help you clarify your needs. I find working with you to be amazing, surprising, mystical, deeply moving – different feelings at different times.

I have lived a varied life, starting from a challenging childhood that taught me the importance of listening to myself and finding genuinely satisfying ways of living. And yet I see how this is constantly a challenge, with fears and old beliefs from our past experiences that can affect us often – awareness of these is very important to me, helping me to let go of them.

I trained as a computer professional yet knew that supporting people on a life changing level is what really inspires me. So I moved towards using computers to help people with disabilities.

After a time I felt I wanted to work on a more personal and emotional level, and so I followed my desire to train in counselling – this had begun way back when I sought it for myself in the early 90s. Later, after being deeply helped by energy healing, my interest in that approach was ignited.

I now work in private practice locally. I have supported members of the public (all age groups from 16 upwards, with wide-ranging difficulties), many employers, universities and colleges (with young people as counsellor at a local 6th Form College), libraries, learning centres, charities, and disability groups.

These days I love living in a peaceful village, with nature close by. I enjoy cycling and walking to strengthen my body, and meditation to calm my mind. I am intrigued by the mystery of the world and our lives, and understanding the purpose of our life experiences and how to integrate them. Spirituality is important to me, though not centred on any particular religion.

In 2007, I began a new training, with the School of Energy Healing, to further deepen the possibilities of helping you. This was an incredibly exciting and challening 3 year programme of learning ever more about myself, daily practice (chi kung, meditations), and various healing approaches (e.g. colour, sound, angelic, relationship cords, and inner child work). Having now completed ths course, I see that this is greatly strengthening all of my work.
