Counselling helps individuals with a whole range of issues, emotional and physical, such as:
- confidence and self-esteem
- life changes and transitions
- loss and bereavement
- complex or major decisions
- relationships (personal or work)
- stress and anxiety
- depression and suicidal feelings
- academic, work or work-life balance issues
- bullying, abuse or self harm
- addictive behaviour.

This is an opportunity for both you and the counsellor to decide if it feels right to work together. You are free to ask questions about our experience and qualifications, as well as about our background in relation to the specific difficulties you bring.
Our first session is described above. Subsequent sessions usually last an hour, though longer or shorter sessions may be negotiable.
Geoff belongs to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Louise is an Member of the Counselling Society. This means we work to strong ethical frameworks that promote good practice. Our work is supervised to ensure we practice ethically and safely, benefiting you as much as possible.
