Learn about yourself in nature

Nature Nutures - a project under development
Being in nature, even simply walking, brings personal challenges, both physically and emotionally. Geoff plans to take small groups on simple (initially one-day) walking trips with a theme (e.g. following the flow of a river) that will support you in exploring your feelings about your life.

He intends to help you to feel more free in the wonders of nature and in yourself, and to take what you have learnt home to benefit yourself, your friends and family, and your work.

He has been attending workshops to further develop his skills in the area, including Spirituality in the Outdoors with the Wrekin Trust, a well respected organisation in the field.

Natural environments contain wonderful healing energies that can help you grow in yourself. For many, this is more accessible and rewarding than other approaches to personal development.

The Spirit of Adventure - a project for the next few years
This is a special venture with Partners in Healing and the Leam Boat Centre. Louise and Geoff have known Matt Bishop, manager of Leam Boat Centre for some time, and it has been a dream of all of us to begin connecting the work we both do.

photo of a recent boat trip to Matlock, Derbyshire We will take groups (from workplaces, schools/colleges, or who apply to us individually) into nature, with rigorous safety measures, and appropriate training during and beforehand, in the relevant skills required.

At regular intervals we assemble the whole group, or perhaps parts of it in several smaller groups, and talk through our experiences of ourselves and in relation to others. This tends to clarify the learnings and brings great opportunities for change as you share with one another and the facilitators help anyone having difficulties.

So contact us soon and let us know if you would like to join in with the spirit of adventure!
